"READER Keith Brundrett summed up the pub closure situation I commented on last week. He said: "Nobody goes out anymore due to the breweries getting greedy. They have just increased the price by an average of 8 pence per pint and it will probably rise again next month due to the budget.
Sky have raised their prices for sport by around 300% and this has to be passed to the customer. I am one who does not go out as often as I did because it's too expensive.
And they plan to open all day, good luck to them.
