LEIGH RMI U10s kept up their title ambitions with a 4-1 away win against fellow contenders, Rooftec Rangers.
Both sides pushed for the opening goal, but it was Leigh who struck first when Matty Wilkinson and Ryan Holland combined a number of passes together before Holland hit the net.
A second goal soon followed when Wilkinson made a surging run down the right wing and then crossed for Swindells to flick the ball over the oncoming keeper.
With RMI dominating, it was an excellent turn from Morris in the box who found the bottom corner for the third. A minute before the break a good through ball from Man of the Match, Holland, found Morris who slotted home the fourth.
With Nicholls and Dillon in defence and Taylor in goal not conceding any goals it was an awesome first half display.
As the second half got underway it was Rooftec who had the early chances and soon broke the Leigh defence, however with substitutes Pollard, Beaver and Wood entering the game it ensured Leigh top position in the league.
