A charity balloon race was a flyaway success for a Bury law firm, after two balloons landed in Devon!
In November last year, 1,500 balloons were released by GLP Solicitors in Haymarket Street to raise money for the BBC Children in Need Appeal, and raised more than £1,000. The winning balloons were found only 3.5 kilometres apart, in Dartmoor National Park. The firm gave prizes to the senders and finders of both balloons.
Practice manager Denise Butler said: "We were delighted with the response and were astonished that the winning balloons were found so close together."
