GREATER Manchester Crown Prosecution Service is bringing more offenders to justice.
Inspectors have also praised staff and management for their partnership with police in reducing the rate of ineffective trials and bringing persistent young offenders to justice within the national target of 71 days, from arrest to sentence.
The number of offenders brought to justice by the service rose by 11.6 per cent, well above the national target of five per cent.
Stephen Wooler, HM Chief Inspector for the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "The Greater Manchester CPS has a sound track record in consistently delivering good quality casework."
