A PRESTWICH man was robbed of cash and a mobile phone at knifepoint by two thugs.
They pounced seconds after the 27-year-old victim had locked his car in Albert Avenue, Sedgley Park, at 1.30am on Sunday (20).
One of the robbers threatened the man with a knife and demanded cash. After handing over money and his phone, the raiders fled on foot.
Police say the offenders were two black males of medium build. Both wore baseball caps, one of which was blue, as well as dark tracksuits and dark gloves.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery, or who has any information, should contact Bury police's robbery unit on 856 8093 or freephone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
