A LIFELINE service desperately needs new volunteers to guarantee its future.
The WRVS wants more people to step forward to offer a friendly face and a quick chat to elderly locals in and around Morecambe while delivering hot lunchtime meals.
For many people, the 'Meals on Wheels' helper is their only social contact - and more are needed.
Meals on Wheels requires both drivers and helpers, men and women who can spare three hours once a week or fortnight.
