WHEN will the police monitor the traffic leaving Ainsworth Road and joining Bolton Road, Bury, during the rush hour?
I travel to work this way every morning and the drivers on Bolton Road will not, under any circumstances, let the traffic in from Ainsworth Road.
When I was learning to drive, my Highway Code read: "Do not enter the yellow box unless your exit is clear".
Has this rule been removed? Not as far as I'm aware and yet drivers have to wait on Ainsworth Road whilst cars block the yellow box time and time again. The traffic lights at Bury Bridge can change three times without a single car moving. This used to happen in Radcliffe until someone had the sense to put up traffic lights. When will the council or the police wake up to this ongoing problem?
