CATERING students had the chance to impress future bosses with a change to the menu at Bury College's popular training restaurant.
The Market Street eaterie has been re-christened as the 3Czons, and held a lunchtime launch for special guests on Tuesday.
Staff and students wanted an imaginative new name for the bistro, known simply as Bury College Restaurant in the past.
The new name represents the three terms of the college year, and the popularity of text messaging.
Each working day of the week the restaurant is open to the public for lunch, with a coffee house serving snacks and speciality sandwiches.
Themed cuisine evenings are held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and a private function room is also available.
The college recently received an Open Your Doors Award for catering with care from the Guide Dogs For The Blind Association.
At the event were 40 invited guests, with head chefs and personnel managers from food establishments.
Suppliers were also invited to see how their produce was used by students to prepare dishes.
Restaurant manager David Hodkin said: "It's nice to be able to build up a relationship with employers, because the people that we are training will be working for them."
