AN unruly schoolboy has been made the subject of an Anti-Social Behaviour Order -- and wanted it imposed, a court was told.

Burnley magistrates heard how young footballer Jamie Shackleton, 14, realised two boys he had been mixing with had been getting him into trouble -- and he is now banned from seeing them.

Shackleton, of Essex Street, Barnoldswick, was given a two-year ASBO and if he behaves, it may be scrapped before then.

The teenager had thrown stones at cars, damaged buildings, had offensive weapons and assaulted someone.

The order places Shackleton under a whole host of restrictions and he is prohibited from associating with the two youths, except at training sessions or matches of Barnoldswick Town Football Club or going to Barnoldswick Youth Club.
