A QUANTITY of mail was destroyed after a post box was targeted by firebugs.
It is believed burning paper was pushed into the mail box located at Market Street, Bury, near Parkhills Road.
The arson attack happened at 8.20pm on Tuesday. Letters inside the post box sustained fire or water damage.
A fire crew was at the scene for ten minutes.
