BURY U15s crashed out of the Greater Manchester Schools' Woodhead Cup first round, going down 6-1 against Warrington at Victoria Park, Adam Edwards' (Prestwich) scoring their consolation goal.
Bolton U15s, who are still in with an outside chance of a Greater Manchester Schools' League and Cup double, took a break in Spain this week.
Team manager Ivor Altdorf has gathered a couple of teams together comprising district players and lads from Sharples School to travel to Barcelona for a couple of games against local Catalan sides as well as taking in a top La Liga game.
