DARWEN Girl Guides will install floral display in the town centre to celebrate the organisation's centenary.
Divisional commander Eileen Walsh has received £2,280 from Darwen and Rural Neighbourhood Board to complete the installation which will show the Girl Guides' logo in flowers on land facing Arch Street and Market Street.
It will be finished in early June.
Mrs Walsh said: "We used to have a floral carpet bed every year in Bold Venture Park, but we lost it when they built the playground there."
