A 15-YEAR-OLD charged with an £8,000 criminal damage spree has been given an 18-month supervision order.
He appeared before Hyndburn magistrates who decided not to make a compensation order because of the defendant’s lack of means.
Instead, he must undertake 24 hours ‘reparation’.
The Oswaldtwistle youth, who cannot be named, was convicted of damaging 18 cars in one night in July, in Bury.
During the hearing, the teenager was also re-sentenced for two previous offences of a sexual act with a girl under 16 and destroying property.
