THREE Darwen gymnasts took top medals in their first competition.
Grace Orrell, Ellie Kershaw and Brittany Cooper, who all attend Tumble Beez Gymnastics Club at Turton Leisure Centre, took part in the North West General Gymnastics Floor and Vault competition in Salford.
Grace took gold in vault for the under-12s age group, Ellie won silver in vault for the under 10s, and Brittany won bronze in floor for the under 11s.
The girls have only taken part in intra-club competitions before.
