MJs Restaurant at the Whitehall Hotel in Darwen has been shortlisted for a regional award.
Head chef Chris Sloan and his team are down to the last five for the Best North West Restaurant award at the event run by the Hi-Life Diners Club.
Every year the club asks its 100,000 members to vote for their favourite restaurants in 11 different categories.
Owner Neil Bullows said: “To be one of the nominees is already a huge accolade, especially when there are over 2000 restaurants, so to be one of less than 60 on the list for an award is an outstanding achievement.
“We are absolutely delighted for all the staff who work so hard to make MJs a restaurant destination of which Darwen can be proud.”
The winners of the award will be announced in January at a star studded event at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester.
