THE M65 was brought to a standstill during rush hour after a car crashed into the central reservation, leaving a driver seriously injured.
A lane of the westbound carriageway was shut between junction three (Blackburn West) and junction two ( Clayton Brook) following the smash at around 5.45pm today.
The driver was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital with head injuries. Another car may have been involved and an investigation is underway, police said.
