A THIRD man has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal house fire which killed a well respected mosque teacher and his wife.

Police charged Sadek Miah, 23, from the Isle of Dogs, with two counts of murder and arson with intent to endanger life last night. He will appear at Blackburn Magistrates tomorrow.

Two men from London, aged 25 and 19, who were arrested in East London on Thursday on suspicion of murder, remained in police custody this evening.

A 22-year-old man from London who was arrested in Forest Gate on suspicion of murder has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Abdullah Mohammad, 41, and his 39-year-old wife Ayesha died as a result of the fire in London Road, Blackburn, in the early hours of Wednesday, October 21.

Peter Bowden, 39, from Lytham St Annes and Imran Ali, 29, from Manchester have previously been charged in connection with the incident.
