Environmental campaigners from the Groundwork Trust and Burnley Council have secured £26,000 for improvements to Bank Hall Park.
The trust is working with town hall staff to create a forest park at the inner Burnley nature haven. Funds will create an outdoor fitness loop at the park, and redevelop nearby grassland as wildflower meadows.
