Oxjam’s main fundraisers, Jill Smith (right) and Emily Dwyer, celebrate receiving £515 from a Soul Night at Darwen Golf Club.
They are pictured with other fundraising staff and members of some of the many bands which performed at the Woodlands Hotel, Blackburn, in Oxjam’s official warm-up in readiness for their main event on October 25.
That will see six music sets around the town, with a fundraising target of £5,500.
