PLANNING permission for an activity centre for people with learning difficulties has been rejected.
The owner of Blue Bell Farm, in Skipton Old Road, Colne, applied for permission to convert and extend an existing barn into a day activity centre.
A letter in support of the application was sent to the council and no letters of objection were received.
Pendle Council, however, refused the application on the grounds that the two-storey extension to the barn activity centre would be too large and not suitable in a conservation zone.
