The second steering group meeting of the Padiham Greenway Scheme (linear park) was held at Shuttleworth College on Tuesday.
A lengthy discussion took place on a proposed walkway from the college to Lakeland Way and a footpath linking Memorial Park to Shuttleworth Mead.
It was stated that artwork on the old railway bridges in Padiham is to be carried out.
Ecologists are to advise on the protection of the planting to be done in the next six months.
