A BURNLEY golf club has raised more than £1,000 for Pendleside Hospice through a range of events.
Towneley Golf Club recently handed over a cheque for £1,077 to representatives of the hospice.
The club chose Pendleside Hospice as its Charity of the Year.
The money raised will help the hospice provide care to local people suffering from cancer and other life limiting illnesses.
Current annual running costs now exceed £2.85 million.
More than £2 million has to be raised from fundraising and donations.
