ST Augustine’s RC Primary School, in Lowerhouse Lane, is delighted after being awarded an ICT Mark by Becta, the government-funded body responsible for promoting the use of technology in British schools.
It comes after an extensive assessment of the school and recognises the whole school’s positive approach, and the benefits it brings to the children.
Members of the community were also encouraged to go along and learn IT skills from Gina and the pupils.
