A MOTORCYCLIST was smashed around the head with an iron bar by two men trying to steal his vehicle.
Police have launched an investigation to find two men linked with the violent encounter in Hargher Street, Burnley, on Thursday night.
A 24-year-old male was approached by two white men in their late teens.
The victim suffered minor head injuries but managed to keep hold of his bike during the incident at 11.40pm.
