A MAN was arrested after police discovered a cannabis factory in an upstairs bedroom.
A team led by Sergeant Simon Lynch and community beat manager Chris Emmett raided a home in Christchurch Street, Accrington.
Police arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
The officers raided the house around 10.30am yesterday after securing a warrant from magistrates an hour earlier.
Information about a suspected cannabis factory was given to police from the local community.
Sgt Lynch said: “We are interested in little players as well as the big players who are committing these offences.
“We acted on information supplied to us from the local community and would urge anyone with any information to contact us.”
