A BURNLEY woman has raised more than £1,500 for charity by hosting a series of ‘Tea at Three’ events.
Over the past five years Angelina Hackett has held the community events, raising £1,771 for Pendleside Hospice, based at Reedley.
This year’s event, which was her fifth, was held on June 20 and raised £552.42 with up to 120 people attending an afternoon of activities including raffles and quizzes.
Angelina’s sons Sam and Thomas helped with the tombola and fundraising games.
