A candle retailer in East Lancashire is doing her bit to support some of the world’s poorest children.
Cheryl Hook, owner of the Backridge Farm candle firm Melt, has produced an exclusive UNICEF candle, which is for sale at £12, with all profits going to the charity.
It is part of a bid by the Blue Ribbon Fundraising committee to raise £100,000 for UNICEF’s Cold Chain Ethiopia Project to support immunisation to prevent diseases such as measles, polio, whooping cough, and diphtheria.
