PRESTON bosses have welcomed the decision to grant planning permission for the city’s £700million redevelopment.
But Blackburn with Darwen Council is still hopeful of forcing a public inquiry into the plans, which it claims will damage Blackburn town centre.
Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool councils claim the plans are “unrealistic” and will cost their economies millions of pounds by dragging shoppers away.
