A 20-strong team of employees from a Burnley’s Aircelle is to undertake a 127-mile bike ride to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Stephen Irvine enlisted his colleagues in a bid to raise £3,000 for the charity, as his father-in-law died from the disease six years ago.
In addition, Stephen said there is a chance his wife and children could contract it in the future.
The team will ride from Leeds city centre to Liverpool’s Albert Dock, where they will be met by Stephen’s wife and children for the final mile.
Aircelle has provided a team mini bus, vehicles, packed lunches and donated money to the cause.
