Driver escapes unhurt as car demolishes fence
A DRIVER escaped unhurt when his car flattened a lamp-post and took out 20 feet of fencing.
The grey Vauxhall Vectra left Blackburn Road, in Rising Bridge, at about 10.30pm on Sunday, near the roundabout by McDonalds.
Police, fire crews and highway authorities all attended the incident.
