VISITORS and residents were given the opportunity to view 20 gardens across Earby as part of an “open gardens” event in the town.
An impressive variety of gardens of all shapes and sizes were on show and visitors were able to come away with many new ideas for their own plots.
The event started at St Peter’s Methodist Church, on Riley Street, where there were descriptions of the gardens as well as cake, bric-a-brac and plant stalls.
The Mayor, Coun Marjorie Adams also attended.
