STAFF at aerospace giant BAE Systems, Samlesbury, took part in a fundraiser to raise cash for the Army Benevolent Fund.
As part of the national 'Big Curry' event in aid of the Army fund, chefs at Samlesbury cooked-up an extra hot curry for employees.
And a donation to the fund was made for every main meal sold.
The money raised will help support soldiers, veterans and their families, many of whom will live with physical and psychological consequences of their time in service for many years to come.
Jon Bonnick, communications director for Military Air Solutions, said: "We recognise the vital part that the Army Benevolent Fund plays in turning around the lives of serving soldiers, veterans and their families at times of real need."
