AN ELDERLY pedestrian is believed to have been knocked down in an accident in Longridge at around 10.30am this morning.
The accident occurred in Inglewhite Road, outside Somerfield.
The road remained closed between the Berry Lane and Derby Road junction and Chipping Lane until around 1pm.
