A MANHUNT has been launched after a man indecently exposed himself to an 11-year-old schoolgirl.
Police said the incident happened at the junction of Shakespeare Street and Stockbridge Road, Padiham, at 8.10am yesterday.
The offender giggled before pulling down his trousers to his ankles, officers said.
He then approached the youngster while touching himself until she ran away.
The offender is described as white, aged about 20, of average build, scruffy, and about 5ft 5ins tall.
He had ginger, or brown, dishevelled hair and was wearing a brown coat, which finished at the waistline.
He was possibly drunk.
