NEW Darwen Market reusable bags are now available from traders in the town.
The jute bags can be bought from all Darwen Market traders at a cost of £1.
On one side there is a picture of the Market Hall with the slogan ‘Shop fresh, shop local, shop Darwen’, and on the other side, a large picture of Town Hall with the words ‘Darwen Market — Free Parking’.
The new design comes after the success of last year’s bags.
And they have been taken to far-flung places across the world.
President of Darwen Chamber of Trade, Denise Gee, said: “Get them while they’re in stock and support local market traders.
“Shop fresh, shop local, shop Darwen says it all and we want to spread the message about shopping here in Darwen.”
