A SCHOOLBOY was given a final warning by police after he carried out an unprovoked attack on a cinemagoer.
The 15-year-old pupil from Clitheroe Grammar punched the 14-year-old boy in the face outside Blackburn's Vue cinema on Saturday afternoon.
His victim was left bleeding and temporarily unable to see due to the swelling around his eye.
Police were able to trace the attacker after he allowed the victim to use his phone to call his mum.
Officers issued the warning as it was the teen's first offence.
Sgt Alan Clayton, Blackburn Police, said: "This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated in the town centre.
Officers are dedicated to making it a safer place to be."
