FIVE people have been arrested during morning raids on houses in relation to a suspected money laundering plot.
Police used warrants obtained under the proceeds of Crime Act to target properties in Clayton-le-Moors and Nelson.
Detectives arrested a 21-year-old man, a 46-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman at an address in Nelson and a 43-year-old man at an address in Clayton le Moors.
A 26-year-old man was also produced from HMP Garth.
All five people were arrested on suspicion of money laundering and will be questioned by officers at Burnley Police Station during the course of today.
