A WOMAN was punched in the face by a gang of youths in an early-hours attack.
The 26-year-old was walking along Bird Street, Brierfield, when she was approached by a group of four to five males, police said.
She was then punched in the face, leaving her with bruising.
Sergeant Keith Beckley said officers were seeking witnesses to the attack around 1am on Friday.
Police said the gang members were all Asian and wearing dark clothing with hoods up.
