A television series is being filmed behind the White Horse pub in Helmshore.
The BBC is filming a series of the old 70s programme Survivors on the Airtours car park.
Launched in April 1975 on BBC One, Survivors ran for 38 episodes over three series.
The series focussed on a post-apocalyptic world, in the after-math of a plague which wipes out over 99% of the population, and how a group grapples with the trials of day-to-day survival.
Helmshore residents can catch glimpses of the cast which includes Freema Agyeman of Doctor Who, Max Beesley from Hotel Babylon and Paterson Joseph of The Peep Show.
They are filming for transmission in autumn and the series will be aired on BBC1.
Kate Harwood, head of drama series and serials said: “Survivors is an exciting new drama series which asks the most fundamental of questions.”
