Baxters soup recalled due to "manufacturing fault"
The Baxters soups that have been affected are the 400g tins with the batch code L07XC with a best before date of April 2029 LC51.
These details can be found on the underside of the tin.
The manufacturing fault could result in "spoilage causing unpleasant odour and flavour, swelling and possible rupture of the can".
Baxters has recalled the product with notices placed in all retail stores that sell the product in store and online such as Tesco, Morrisons, and Waitrose.
Baxters has told customers who have bought the product to not eat it.
Customers should dispose of the full can and product without opening it.
Baxters said: "Carefully place the full can in a bag and dispose of it in an external bin."
If you have a product that has been affected, you should contact the Baxters Customer Care team by calling 08003898389 or emailing them for a replacement.
Anyone who has bought the product from Tesco should return it to any Tesco store to get a full refund.
You do not need your receipt to do this.
Waitrose customers are also being told to return the soup to a Waitrose store for a refund.
What is a product recall?
A product can be recalled if there is a problem with it that means it should not be sold in supermarkets or online.
