Lancashire diners have helped raise more than £2,500 through a charity fundraiser at McDonald's.
Nine restaurants in the area took part in the campaign, collecting a total of £2,552 for Galloway’s, a charity that supports people living with sight loss.
The money was raised through community activities organised by restaurant staff, including bake sales, face painting, colouring competitions, and bingo cards.
Nigel Dunnington, who operates 16 McDonald’s restaurants in Lancashire, including the nine that took part, said: "We're absolutely delighted to have raised £2,552 for Galloway's.
"A massive thank you to all our customers and restaurant teams who supported the fundraising efforts.
"The generosity shown by our local community has been incredible, and we're proud that the funds raised will help support the vital work Galloway's does for people living with sight loss.”
Galloway’s has been supporting people with visual impairments across the North West since 1867, helping them to live independently and confidently.
The money raised will go towards funding essential services for those who need them.
Kelly Love, corporate engagement lead at Galloway’s, said: "We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to McDonald’s for their incredible support of our charity.
