Coaches are still welcome in Clitheroe despite recent bus service changes, the council has said in a bid to reassure residents.
Lancashire County Council has confirmed coaches can continue to drop off and pick up passengers at Clitheroe’s transport interchange, following concerns that access might have changed.
Coaches can use stand one at the interchange for drop-offs and collections.
County Councillor Warren Goldsworthy, cabinet member for highways and transport, said: "Clitheroe is a fantastic place to visit and we want to reassure people that coaches and their passengers remain very welcome.
"Coach operators can continue to drop people off at the interchange and return to collect them at the end of their visit, as they have done previously."
Coaches are not, however, permitted to remain parked at the interchange for several hours while passengers visit Clitheroe.
In practice, some coaches have previously done so without causing operational issues.
However, recent improvements to local bus services mean all of the stands are now needed for scheduled services.

The changes, which came into effect on October 25, include a new direct service between Clitheroe and Colne as well as other improvements to local services.
Cllr Warren Goldsworthy added: "The interchange is primarily there to serve scheduled bus services, and coaches aren't able to park there for several hours while passengers visit the town.
"We hope this clears up any confusion and reassures coach operators that they can continue bringing visitors to Clitheroe."
