Weather forecast for Lancaster and Morecambe this weekend

Saturday will start off chilly and cloudy, with temperatures around 7°C to 8°C between 6am and 8am.

The temperature will rise to about 9°C to 10°C by 11am.

The morning will be mostly dry, with some light rain lingering from overnight.

A gentle breeze along the coast will make it feel cooler.

In the afternoon, light rain will develop and continue intermittently.

Temperatures will reach around 10°C at midday, staying close to 9°C to 10°C between 1pm and 3pm, before gradually falling to 8°C to 9°C by 4pm and 5pm.

Rainfall will become more widespread across Lancaster and Morecambe during the afternoon.

Sunny intervals are expected to develop from around 8am.

The afternoon should become brighter and largely dry, with sunny intervals between periods of cloud.

Temperatures are expected to reach around 9°C at midday, rising to about 10°C between 1pm and 3pm, before gradually falling towards 8°C to 9°C later in the afternoon.

Sunday evening is expected to remain largely dry, with partly cloudy skies and some clearer spells developing after sunset.

Temperatures will generally be around 7°C to 8°C at 6pm, falling to about 5°C to 6°C by 9pm and 10pm.
