A popular artisan market packed with independent traders, street food and handmade goods is returning to Ormskirk this weekend.
The Ormskirk Makers Market will take over Aughton Street and Moor Street on Sunday, November 8, running from 11am until 4pm.
Visitors will be able to browse stalls from independent businesses selling everything from food and drink to jewellery, candles, gifts and pet treats.
Organisers have already revealed a sneak peek of the traders due to attend, including Digger Dozer, Inspired by Nature, lushbrownies, The Kashmiri Guys, Cheshire Candle Company, Oxford Maps, Sunrise Patisserie and The Cheese Counter.
Also announced are Small Batch Bakery Fudge, Paiges Sourdough Co, Camwood Natural Dog Treats, Salford Distillery, Caru Spirits, Pure Pet Food and a host of other independent businesses.
There will also be plenty for visitors looking for something to eat, with a street food line-up featuring Proper Crispy Co., Casita Paella and Scrumpy Pig.
Live music will be provided throughout the day by Jaz Mc Ivor, while Daydream Facepainting will offer face painting.
Organisers said the full trader line-up would be revealed ahead of the event.
The market is held in the centre of one of Lancashire's most historic market towns.
Ormskirk's market heritage stretches back more than 700 years, with King Edward I granting the town a market charter in 1286.
Regular markets continue to play a major role in the town centre, bringing shoppers into Ormskirk from across West Lancashire and further afield.
The Makers Market aims to showcase small and independent businesses while encouraging people to shop locally.
Promoting Sunday's event, organisers said: "Ormskirk, we're back this Sunday!
"Bring your friends and family along for a fantastic Sunday of shopping small, discovering unique handmade gifts, enjoying delicious street food and supporting some amazing independent businesses!
"We can't wait to see you there, Ormskirk!"
Visitors can also make a day of the event by exploring Ormskirk's independent shops, cafés and other town-centre businesses.
The Ormskirk Makers Market takes place on Aughton Street and Moor Street, Ormskirk, from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, November 8.
