Two men have been jailed following an assault in Great Harwood 12 months ago.

Lee Comer, 38, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, while Nasar Kabel, 44, was handed a 13-month sentence.

The pair, both of Longsight Road, Clayton-le-Dale, were sentenced at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday, October 28, after previously pleading guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The charge related to an incident on November 29, 2025, involving a property in Lomax Close, Great Harwood.

Comer and Kabel had also been charged with burglary of a dwelling with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.

When they appeared at Preston Crown Court in August, they pleaded guilty to the ABH offence and the burglary charge was left to lie on file.

They returned to the same court on Wednesday (October 28), when Comer received an 18-month prison sentence, and Kabel was sentenced to 13 months.
