The sixth contestant to leave The Great British Bake Off has been revealed.
The latest episode of Bake Off (series 17) aired on Tuesday (October 27) night, with the contestant taking part in pastry week.
Judges Paul Hollywood and Nigella Lawson put contestants to the test with three challenges, while host Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding watched on.
Who was the sixth contestant eliminated from the Great British Bake Off last night?
Clara, a 24-year-old Portuguese marketing graduate, left the Channel 4 programme on Tuesday.
The bakers were first asked to create handheld savoury pies, before a technical round had them whipping up choux pastry for a dramatic Polish dessert.
They were given one last chance to impress the judges in the showstopper round with an eye-catching decorative pie.
Following the three challenges, Clara was eliminated after her pastry week efforts failed to win over the judges.
On hearing the news she had to leave, Clara said: “I had a blast.
"This experience – it’s not only that you are learning about baking, but you are learning a lot about you.
"I never thought I could do this with my disorder, and I am really proud that I did that and hopefully I can be an inspiration for other people."
She had previously been named star baker in week three of the competition but admitted she "really struggled" during pastry week.
Despite her departure, Clara said she was proud of her journey and encouraged other aspiring bakers to "absolutely go for it" and apply for the next series.
She said: "I actually learned a big lesson: having a bad bake does not mean I am a bad baker, it means there’s room for improvement, which is amazing because it motivates me to get the technique even better."
Clara added the atmosphere among the contestants had been supportive and positive throughout the series.
She said: "I think we were all just truly blessed with this group as we got on really well.
"Everyone is so different and brings so much to the table so that was beautiful to see."
Who was named star baker?
While Clara was eliminated, Tom, a 25-year-old hairdresser, was named star baker for pastry week.
This was Tom's third time receiving the accolade this series.

- Yannis (week five)
- Molly (week four) - eliminated
- Nikki (week four) - personal reasons
- Shannon (week three)

There was no elimination in week one.
