A man shouted threats and abuse at his neighbour as she returned home from work.
Blackburn Magistrates' Court heard the neighbour had obtained a civil injunction against William Blakeley because of ongoing issues between them.
Blakeley, 62, of Cook House Road, Colne, pleaded guilty to harassment in breach of a civil injunction.
He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £150 compensation to his neighbour.
Safia Hussain, prosecuting, said the injunction was made by Burnley County Court in November 2025 because of ongoing issues between the neighbours.
On July 27, she returned home from work, got out of her car and went into the front garden.

"The defendant came to his gate shouting that if she came through his garden again he would 'get her'," said Miss Hussain.
"She went into her house and locked the door.
"When she went to the back garden to let her dog out, he began kicking the gate, shouting more abuse."
In a statement to police, the neighbour said she was fed up with constantly being worried about leaving her home.
She said Blakeley banged on the adjoining wall all through the night, leaving her exhausted.
She said the ongoing issues had affected her mental health.
Mark Williams, mitigating, said his client had significant issues with his mental health.
"I was in two minds whether he should enter a plea today because he has a cognitive assessment next month to look at the possible onset of dementia," said Mr Williams.
He said he understood the housing association was looking to move him into what was probably going to be more supportive accommodation.
"He has to be held accountable for his actions and a financial penalty may be the most appropriate way of dealing with this," said Mr Williams.
