A man who turned up at his ex-partner's home assaulted her twice.
Blackburn Magistrates' Court heard that on a separate occasion, Stuart Brown asked to borrow her car, and when she refused, he took the keys and drove off.
Brown, 48, of Burnley Road, Accrington, pleaded guilty to two charges of assault, taking a vehicle without consent and driving it without insurance and without a licence.
He was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Lyndsey Vinden, prosecuting, said when Brown turned up at his ex-partner's home she let him in and they started to argue.
"He slapped her across the face," said Miss Vinden.
"He then grabbed her breast and squeezed it, causing a bruise."
Mark Williams, in mitigation, said it was accepted a pre-sentence report would be needed.
He said that, in the car incident, the vehicle had only been driven a couple of streets away before it was parked up.
"He arranged for the key to be returned," said Mr Williams.
