Drivers in Lancaster and Morecambe should brace for multiple road closures as essential works are scheduled for late October and early November.

Winchester Avenue will be closed from October 26, at 12am until October 30, at 11.59pm.

The restrictions are set to remain in place due to remedial works being carried out by Electricity North West Limited.

Stuart Avenue will also be affected during the same period, closing from October 26, at 12am to October 30, at 11.59pm.

Similar to Winchester Avenue, the restrictions are set to remain in place for remedial works by Electricity North West Limited.

The Crescent will experience a closure on October 26, from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

The restrictions are expected to remain in place to provide a safe working area for engineers accessing telegraph poles for fibre overhead cabling, as scheduled by BT.

Finally, Nelson Street will be closed from November 2, at 8am until November 4, at 4pm.

Restrictions are set to remain in place for carriageway drainage repairs prior to resurfacing works by Lancashire County Council.
