A Rawtenstall baker is set to return to screens in a magical new series of Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking.

Molly Robbins, daughter of comedian Ted Robbins, known for playing Den Perry in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, will appear on season three of Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, which premieres on November 4.

The competition will air on Food Network and HBO Max as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the first Harry Potter film.

This season introduces a tournament-style format, with four teams of three each representing a Hogwarts house.

Teams will tackle challenges inspired by the Harry Potter universe, with the hope of winning the Wizards of Baking Cup.

Molly said: "Guys, I am back! Can't believe I get to say this again - but I’m going to be part of season three of Harry Potter Wizards of Baking.

"I had an absolute blast coming back - not to mention with two new judges (and my absolute idols!.

"Season 3 is out in the US on November 4 - cannot wait to show you all the fabulous things we all made."

Oliver Phelps, who played George Weasley in the film series, said: "We’re so excited for all Harry Potter and baking show fans across the world to see this season’s amazing showpieces.

"The all-star teams will leave our audience spellbound."

James Phelps, who played Fred Weasley, said: "We feel like the luckiest hosts because we get to be part of this fun tournament, with some of the world’s best bakers and chefs, and celebrate the anniversary of the first film in a series that sparked a global phenomenon."

Each team will be made up of returning competitors—cake artists, bakers, and pastry chefs.

Although none has previously won the coveted Wizards of Baking Cup, they have all demonstrated exceptional skill and passion for the Harry Potter world.

The show will be hosted by James and Oliver Phelps, known for their roles as Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter films.

Duff Goldman and pastry chef Sarah Mountain will serve as judges and "Ministers of Baking."

Molly will compete as part of Team Hufflepuff, alongside Elizabeth Rowe from Dallas, Texas, and Priya Winsor from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada.

Other teams include Team Gryffindor (Andy Ortega, Angel Figueroa, and Rui Mota), Team Ravenclaw (Caitlin Taylor, Jujhar Mann, and Kimberly Adams), and Team Slytherin (Christopher Teixeira, Hemu Basumatary, and Miko Uy).

The season opens with a supersized two-hour premiere, where teams will create confections inspired by 'memorable firsts' from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

They will present their cakes against the backdrop of the Quidditch Pitch, before tackling a second challenge based on their favourite spells.

Over seven episodes, teams will be tested with challenges drawn from the Harry Potter books and films.

Themes will include the Chamber of Secrets, the Dark Arts, the Weasleys, and the ongoing battle between Good vs. Evil.

The competition’s winner will receive a VIP trip to Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter.

Special guest judge Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto will appear during the Dark Arts challenge in episode four.
